Illini Lose Big Ten Opener 1/2/13

Things are going to get much tougher for the Fighting Illini in the Big Ten. After going 13-1 in non-conference action they are now 0-1 in conference play.
They lost at Purdue Wednesday 68-61. The Ilini led by two at the intermission.
Terone Johnson led Purdue with 25 points. Brandon Paul had 15, and Joseph Bertrand 14 for the Illini.
Their next game will be Saturday at 1:15 at home against Ohio State.
