Gas Station Clerk Fights Off Armed Robber With Baseball Bat

The sales clerk says the suspect asked for a pack of cigarettes. When he turned around to get them, the suspect pulled out a gun and demanded money. When that happened, the clerk says he threatened the suspect with a baseball bat, and the would-be robber took off empty handed.
Police describe the suspect as a black man, 5'8, wearing a green hoodie and green coveralls.
No one was hurt during the incident.
