Champaign, Illinois-The Fighting Illini will face a top-ten ranked team for the second time in five days Wednesday night. They'll host 8th ranked Minnesota.
The Gophers are 14-1, and they're riding a ten game winning streak. Their only loss has been to Duke.
The Illini will bring a 14-2 mark into the game. They're coming off an impressive drubbing of Ohio State last Saturday. Coach John Groce says his guys will need the same type of effort against the Gophers.
"We have to bottle up some of that toughness tomorrow night against a very, very physical, athletic, deep team. They're number one in the country in offensive rebounding. Minnesota forces turnovers. They score in transition. It's a great challenge for us," says Groce.
