Todd Smith In Court For Status Hearing

Wednesday, Todd Smith, husband of deceased Katrina Smith, made a court appearance after his arraignment.  A motion for release of personal property was filed.  Also, a date of January 22nd was set for his next status hearing.

Smith allegedly beat his wife, Katrina, with a baseball bat, threw her into the trunk of a car and dumped her into the river.

After a massive search that included dozens of police and community members, Katrina's body was found on November 9^th by an off-duty firefighter who was fishing in the Rock River near Byron.

Todd Smith was arrested on November 20^th.
