Stateline Students Ward off the Flu

Several Winnebago County school districts say they have not seen excessive absences this season. Stateline students are surprisingly avoiding the flu.  We spoke with several Winnebago County School districts who say they haven't seen high numbers of kids out sick. RPS explains many students were out the week before Christmas break, but they can't attribute that to the virus. District 133 in South Beloit mentions they have not had excessive absences this season. District 133 School officials recommend all students use provided hand sanitizer before and after lunch and wash hands frequently.
