State Corn Production Drops Big

The weather is throwing us some curveballs, but it's something farmers are having real trouble dealing with.
The state's corn production plunged 34% last year. Farmers reaped only 1.29 billion bushes. The summer's drought, which is still going on right now, is to blame.
According to the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, Illinois harvest finished behind Iowa, Minnesota, and Nebraska.
