Fair Aims To Educate Stateliners About Scholarships

Parents, students, teachers and others wanting to learn about local scholarships are encouraged to attend the Community Scholarship Fair tonight.
The fair will be held on January 15th from 5:30 - 8:30 P.M. at the Rockford Public Library's Sullivan Center, 118 N. Main St.
Representatives of local scholarship funds will be on hand with guidelines and information about their scholarships. In addition, the following workshops will be available:
An Overview of Financial Aid presented by Rock Valley College, 6:00 p.m.
How to Complete the FAFSA presented by ISAC (Illinois Student Assistance Commission), 6:45 p.m.
Online Scholarship Application Demonstration presented by the Community Foundation, 7:30 p.m.
The Community Foundation is the area's largest provider of grants and scholarships. Its mission is to attract, grow and preserve an endowment for the needs of Northern Illinois.
