Rockford - Technology group Supplycore merges with software group CCI bringing jobs and opportunities to those in need.
Collaboration between the two delivers human services more efficiently for organizations like the Rockford Housing Authority and Rockford Rescue Mission.
Community leaders say this will help area crime, poverty, and social services. "There's so many efforts in the city of Rockford today that we can't just do it alone" says Mayor Larry Morrissey (I). "We have to be partnering with other organizations and it's a really powerful tool."
The new venture will provide ways to improve a wide range including public safety.
