A man robbed a Walgreens at 3:00 A.M. Thursday, then a suspect with matching descriptions robbed a Mobil gas station.
Officers responded to a Walgreens located at 2323 Charles St. after receiving a call about a suspicious person dressed in a green hoodie, black mask and handkerchief wrapped around his face. The suspect left the store before police arrived.
About twenty minutes later, a hold up alarm was sounded at a Mobil gas station located at 2605 Broadway. The clerk gave police a similar suspect description and said that he believed the man was armed with a gun. The suspect told the clerk to open the register and took an unknown amount of cash.
No injuries were reported in either incident.
