Marc Trestman highlights his passion, urgency and commitment as the head coach of the Chicago Bears. He also said that he "can't wait to get my hands on" quarterback Jay Cutler. Trestman was introduced Thursday at Halas Hall.
"I do feel the passion, I do feel the urgency, and boy, do I feel the commitment to win," Trestman said.
The Bears GM Phil Emery is looking to strengthen the offensive side of the ball in an organization that has typically sought defensive minded coaches.
Trestman was among three finalists for the job including Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians and Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell. Emery says that he chose Trestman because of his adaptability, as he'd been an assistant with many NFL teams as well as a coach in the Canadian Football League.
