Pair of Rockford Robberies May Involve One Perpetrator

Rockford - Two local businesses are hit overnight and police think one man may behind both.
The first robbery happened at the Walgreen's on Charles St. at 3am. The suspect, wearing a black mask and handkerchief, demanded cash from the register and ran off.
20 minutes later, a robber with the same description robbed a Mobil less than a mile away on Broadway. It's believed he used a gun, but witnesses never saw one.
No one was hurt in either robbery.
