Congressman To Help U.S. Military in Political Arena

Washington, D.C. - A local congressman with experience fighting overseas will now help the military in a political role.
Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-16th) was named to the subcommittee on the Middle East and North Africa. Kinzinger says he'll be a part of decisions concerning terrorism in that region.
While serving in the Air Force, Kinzinger earned the rank of Major.
