Teen Arrested With Loaded Handgun

Rockford- Around 11 P.M. Friday night police were patrolling near Barton Boulevard and Ridge Avenue. That's when they went to make contact with a person who then fled on foot when they approached. After chasing the 17 year old male police found he was in possession of a loaded firearm. The teen was charged with resisting arrest, no FOID card, and unlawful use of a weapon.
