Chicago Blackhawks dominate Kings 5-2 in season opener.
The Blackhawks crashed the Stanley Cup celebration party in Los Angeles, using a furious 3-0 first period advantage to beat the defending champs.
Marian Hossa looked fully recovered from a scary head injury that he suffered in last season's playoffs, scoring two goals and getting four shots on goal. Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane added a goal and an assist a piece.
The Blackhawks defense also looked solid. They allowed only 21 shots on goal, 19 of which Corey Crawford saved.
