Klehm Arboretum Welcomes New Executive Director

Rockford - There's a new man heading up the Klehm Arboretum.
Dan Riggs was announced as the Executive Director for the Arboretum today. Riggs comes over from another Rockford area natural recreation staple, Rock Cut State Park. He says he doesn't plan to make huge changes to the place, but will focus more on family-oriented programs aimed at getting young people interested in natural beauty.
Riggs says he's excited about the future of the arboretum. "Klehm excites me because it's the southern entrance into the city" says Riggs. "I see good things happening here coming up North Main Street."
Riggs says they're already shoring up the lineup for Klehm's summer concert series.
