Update: Police Arrest Man Wanted For Grave Vase Thefts

The Roscoe Police Department arrested Kristopher Kaehler at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Kaehler is being held at the Winnebago County jail awaiting extradition proceedings.
In December, police investigated thefts of cemetery grave vases and military markers stolen from East Lawn Cemetery. Based on the investigation, an arrest warrant for Kristopher Kaehler was obtained.
The warrant charges Kaehler with criminal damage and theft over $10,000.
Beloit Police have recovered 181 vases and 112 military grave markers from the scrap yards.
