Rockford Police Investigate Man Found Dead

Rockford- Shortly after 8 A.M. Rockford police officers and firefighters were dispatched to an alley in the 2400 block of Edgemont Street. That's near Rockford Memorial Hospital. Upon arrival the body of a 23 year-old white male was found dead. Police are not releasing the name of the man until his family has been notified. The Winnebago County Coroner's Office will conduct an autopsy Monday.
