The C.W.B. foundation has awarded University of Illinois
College of Medicine a $3 million grant to create a center capable of producing
cutting-edge cell regeneration research in support of people with disabilities.
The college will recruit a senior scientist to serve as the director of the research program.
Additionally, a curriculum, renovated lab space and an educational program will be developed for students interested in Regenerative Medicine. This will expand and enhance the work in this field and, hopefully, lead to life-changing discoveries.
