Another member of President Obama's cabinet is heading for the door.
Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood announced he's stepping down. He's the only republican left in the President's first-term cabinet. LaHood, a former Illinois congressman, says he'll stay at the department until his successor is confirmed.
LaHood's record at transportation includes steps to curb distracted driving, promoting high-speed rail projects, and improving roads and bridges.
No word yet on who's on the short list to replace him.
