Rockford - A special birthday party with a lot of candles for one local resident.
Josephine Naretta blew out candles on her 100th birthday cake. She doesn't look her age and doesn't act like it either according to her friends at the Atrium Assisted Living Facility.
She still gets exercise by dancing. In fact, she wonders why they don't do it more often. Josephine says dancing, even at her age, comes with a downside. "It's healthy and it's wonderful" says Naretta. "Of course, it makes you cuss when they step on your feet."
Josephine was born in Louisiana, but lived in Rockford for most of her life. She worked for many years at Rockford Clutch.
