Good Samaritan Becomes Victim of Theft

It's an incident that will make you think twice before helping someone out.
A Rockford man saw a speeding car filled with five people rollover in the 1000 block of Seminary Street near Nelson Park in southeast Rockford Tuesday night.
When he got out of his car to help the driver of the overturned car jumped into the good samaritan's car and drove off.
Police eventually caught up with the driver, arrested him and recovered the car.
The 4 passengers of the overturned car and the driver were taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
