Springfield - The General Assembly may be close to passing a concealed-carry law.
Under the measure, only people over 21 years old can get a FOID card. Plus, you'll need four hours of training in gun safety. The bill also would ban guns in schools and government buildings. Individual business owners can decide on their own if they want guns on their property.
The state has until May to pass a concealed-carry law.
