City of Dixon Sues Its Accountant For Not Catching Crundwell Sooner

Dixon - An accounting firm is the latest victim of the Rita Crundwell scandal, as the city says they should've caught her sooner.
The city is suing its long-time accountant, CliftonLarsonAllen.
It says the firm failed to report on bogus invoices in the city's finances. Dixon is seeking $53 million in damages, the same amount Crundwell stole over the course of two decades.
The firm responded saying they're not required to do testing to uncover potential fraud cases.
