It's a violent weekend in the Stateline.
Two people are stabbed in unrelated incidents. One person died and only one suspect in custody.
Jamie Page, 19, is accused of killing her fiancee Jacob Vanzant, 20. An autopsy confirmed he died of a stab wound to the chest. Page is being held in the Boone Co. Jail. She had a bond hearing today and is due back in court on the 15th. She faces up to 60 years in prison if convicted.
The second stabbing happened outside the Walgreen's on North Main Street last night. Police say a thief tried to steal her purse, but she fought back. The suspect then pulled out a knife and stabbed her. Doctors say it's a serious wound, but not life-threatening. The robber didn't get her purse.
