Gas prices surge nationwide. In Rockford, the increase is even more dramatic.
The website RockfordGasPrices.com reports national gas prices have risen nearly .15 cents in just the past week, settling at $3.48/gal.
Here in Rockford, it's more than .21 cents, leaving prices at $3.64/gal.
One month ago, gas prices were just $3.26/gal.
