The batter was flowing big time in Rockford at no charge.
iHop held its National Pancake Day today, celebrating one of America's favorite meals. The pancakes were free, but guests were encouraged to make a donation to the local Children's Miracle Network Hospital.
It's a busy day for the workers at the iHop on Perryville Road. The chefs never seem to stop flipping those flapjacks. "Last year, we made about 4 million pancakes" says Ricardo Montante, a chef at iHop. iHop says it hopes to raise $3 million nationwide for the Children's Miracle Network.
Those pancakes will be free until 10pm tonight.
