NIU Recruits 2/6/13

DeKalb, Illinois-NIU coach Rod Carey was excited Wednesday while talking about several players in his first recruiting class.
The Huskies got signed letters of intent from 24 players. The strength of the class is in the skill positions. The Huskies landed three-star recruit Aregeros Turner a running back from Copley, Ohio who runs a 4.4 40 yard dash. They got another three-star recruit in safety Mycial Allen out of Detroit.
They also landed a playmaker receiver in 6'4 Malik Mitchell out of Alpharetta, Georiga.
The list of recruits also includes three players from nearby state power Aurora Christian...receiver Chad Beebe who is the son of former NFL receiver Don Beebe, running back Joel Bouagnon, and safety Brandon Mayes.
