Woman Making ATM Withdrawal Robbed At Gunpoint

A woman making a withdrawal at an ATM on Thursday was forced at gunpoint to hand over money.

The Beloit Police Department is investigating the incident that occurred in the 400 block of Public Ave. around 6:30 P.M.  The victim was forced into her vehicle by a black male who then told her to make a second withdrawal. 

The suspect got back in the vehicle and told the victim to drive away from the scene.  He got out at the intersection of Wisconsin Ave. and Bushnell St. and fled north on foot. 

Police say that this incident is very similar to an armed robbery at the same ATM on January 6^th. 

Investigators will be reviewing the surveillance tapes in an attempt to identify the suspect.
