Springfield - It's a problem that drives down property values: foreclosures.
Governor Pat Quinn (D) signed a new law today to speed up the foreclosure process. It'll decrease the amount of time it takes to get the home back on the market.
Most foreclosures take two years to process. The law will shorten that to just a few months. It'll take effect June 1.
