Police Search for Man Behind ATM Robberies

Beloit Police are on the lookout for a man who committed a two armed robberies at an atm machine.
The latest was on Thursday night at a drive-up atm near State Street and Public Avenue.
Surveillance video showed a woman got out of her car to use the machine when the suspect approached her with a handgun. The suspect got in the victim's car and demanded she withdraw more money. They drove off a few blocks before he fled.
The first incident took place on January 6, 2013 at the exact atm.
In that case the suspect stole the victim's money and her car, which was later recovered.
Police reviewed both surveillance tapes but are unable to make out the suspect's face.
They describe the man as a 5 foot 4 black man who may live in the Beloit area.
