Lifescape Awarded Grant From Meals On Wheels

Through its participation in the annual Subaru "Share the Love" event, Lifescape Community Services has been awarded $2,000 by the Meals on Wheels Association of America.
In cooperation with Napleton's Subaru of Rockford, Lifescape was able to collect enough non-perishable food items to produce healthy nutritious meals for 50 seniors.
According to the Meals on Wheels Foundation, one in four homes in America contains a senior. Of those homes, one in ten lives alone and face the possibility of food insecurity.
Funds from the grant will be used to provide Meals on Wheels for older adults who are home bound and isolated.
