Supreme Court Denies Former Governor George Ryan's Appeal

Ryan hoped the nation's highest court would hear his appeal to overturn his corruption conviction. The justices refused to consider the matter.
In 2006, Ryan was found guilty of racketeering, tax fraud, and conspiracy.
He's currently serving the remainder of his sentence at home after more than 5 years in federal prison.
