Friday Snow Update
By: Candice King
Updated: February 22, 2013
Light to moderate snow has redeveloped late this morning and will continue into the afternoon with an additional inch of accumulation possible. Visibility has dropped to less than a mile under the more moderate snowfall so allow for extra when out this afternoon. The snow will taper off by this evening as low pressure moves into the Great Lakes.
Snowfall totals from overnight have been in the 3"- 4" range with some locations in Southern Wisconsin receiving slightly lower amounts and some locations just east of Rockford receiving slightly higher amounts. Winds will remain light so blowing and drifting snow shouldn't be much of a concern for the afternoon commute like it was earlier Friday morning.
