Dixon - Barring a last minute deal public school teachers will go on strike.
The lead negotiator for the Dixon Education Association says they'll hit the picket line on Thursday, that's despite talks going until 2 am last night in the hopes of hashing out a deal.
The D.E.A. says negotiations will pick up again Thursday night.
Dixon will be the second Stateline school district within the last year. Rockford Public School teachers walked off the job for three days before agreeing to a deal.
