Cocaine Dealer Sentenced In Boone County

Delfino Perez, 47, of Belvidere
was charged with one count of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and
one count of unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to
deliver.
On February 21, 2012, Perez sold 1.6 grams of a substance containing cocaine to someone at Perez's home in Belvidere. Following that sale, on March 22, 2013, the Belvidere Police Department executed a search warrant on Perez's home and seized approximately 20 grams of a substance containing cocaine, a scale, and $6028.20 in cash.
