Dixon - It's day two of the teachers' strike.
School leaders and the union met today at the bargaining table. Negotiators say the two parties did make some progress. Talks will resume Sunday. But, if no deal is reached, classes will be cancelled on Monday.
The teachers want the district to hire more staff and a pay raise. But, school leaders say they're concerned state funding will dry up, which would then put the district in a deficit.
