Police Search For Dollar General Robber

The Rockford Police Department is on the look out for a man suspected of robbing of a Dollar General store.
Officers suspect that a white male, about 40 years old, 5'9" medium build held up a Dollar General Store located at 3600 E. State St. The suspect was also described as having a mole on the right side of his face, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
The suspect is armed with a long bladed knife. His direction of travel is unknown at this time.
