DeKalb, Illinois-Jefferson defeated Elgin Larkin 71-63 Wednesday at the DeKalb 4A Sectional. Jaredy Mayes scored 23 points, and Antonie Pittman added 21.
Jefferson will play either Boylan or Crystal Lake Central in the championship game on Friday.
