Sweden House Lodge Condemned

The City of Rockford Condemned the Sweden House Lodge Thursday after an inspection revealed several life safety violations.
The property is located at 4605 East State Street. The City of Rockford Construction and Development Services Division condemned the building citing including improper plumbing, gas piping, mechanical equipment, and the exhausting of carbon monoxide.
The City of Rockford Human Services Department was on scene to aid in the relocation the occupants. The building will remain closed until such time as the property is brought into complete compliance with the City of Rockford Life Safety Codes.
