Around 9:30 a.m. two black males entered the United States Post Office at 1140 Broadway and demanded money from the postal employee working the counter.
The first suspect is described as a black male, mid 20's, 5'10 medium build, blk. short hair, scruffy facial hair, puffy style black jacket, armed with a knife. The second suspect is a black male, early to mid 20's, long hair pulled back into a pony tail.
Suspects did
not obtain any money and left on foot possibly towards 9th street. This robbery appears to be linked to the two
recent robberies on Broadway.
Another robbery occurred at 9:53 at Stones Hallmark, 2508 South Alpine Road. The suspect is described as a white male, mid
20's, 5'8, average build, short light brown hair, gray sweatshirt with the
Seattle Seahawks logo on the front. The
suspect was armed with a knife and obtained currency from the female store
employee. The man was last seen fleeing
the store on foot.
