Power Surge: Solar Use Climbs Nationwide

The Solar Energy Industries Sssociation says over 3 gigawatts of solar power was installed last year. That amount of energy is enough to power half a million homes.
The industry as a whole is struggling with consolidation and bankruptcies. However, the group says lower prices for solar panels and tax incentives helped boost their numbers.
