Suspect Armed Robbers Who Stabbed Clerks Arrested

Two men have been arrested for a series of armed robberies.
The Rockford Police Department and Inspectors from the U.S. Postal Service investigated a series of robberies on Broadway.
Jerome Pruitt, 28, and Victor Petty, 21, were arrested for Aggravated Battery to the clerk of The Happy Store located in the 1500 block of Broadway on March 12th, 2013,
Armed Robbery to Reingolds Computer Store located in the 1200 block of Broadway on March 14th, 2013 and Attempted Armed Robbery to the US Post Office located in the 1100 block of Broadway on March 15th, 2013.
Jerome Pruitt was charged with:

Victor Petty was charged with:

Attempted Murder (The Happy Shop)
Aggravated Battery (The Happy Shop)
According to Illinois Department of Corrections Records Jerome Pruitt is on Parole from Cook County for a Narcotics Violation and Victor Petty is on Parole from Peoria County for Theft and Obstructing Justice.
Both suspects have been lodged in the Winnebago County Jail and are being held in lieu of bond.
