ROCK COUNTY -- Two Loves Park men are in jail after an armed robbery and foot chase in rural Janesville township. The Rock County Sheriff's Office as well as officers from the Edgerton Police Department were called to the 5800 block of N. Glenmoor Lane late Tuesday night for a report of an armed robbery. They were told
two white male subjects had pointed handguns at a man and his son in a driveway and fled the area in a Cadillac after stealing an I-Phone and a laptop computer. The victim then followed the two men to a parking lot behind the Janesville Athletic Club where the vehicle, a gold, 2001 Cadillac Seville, had struck the building and became stuck in a snow bank. The armed robbers then removed the license plate from the car and fled on foot.
Rock County Deputies and Janesville Police Officers chase the men and took them into custody with the help of a police dog. They also recovered two handguns along with a cell phone and laptop computer.
Brandon M. Bunch, age 23, and Brandon S. Turnure, age 20, both of Loves Park were transported to the Rock County Jail where they were held pending initial appearances in Jail Court on 03/21/13 at 1600 hours on charges of Armed Robbery. Additional charges are expected, and the two men have also been implicated in a similar crime in Madison on March 16th, although charges have not yet been filed.
