The Chicago Rockford International Airport saw an almost 10% decrease in passengers for the first two months of the year.
RFD Director, Mike Dunn, attributes the decline to the absence of the airport's Ft. Meyers service during January and the early part of February. He expects traffic to increase in March, however, as the Ft. Meyers service was re-installed on February 14th.
RFD served 16,313 passengers in January 2013, compared to 19,652 passengers in January 2012.
